Town Council Welcomes new CMK Street Warden
The Town Council, together with Milton Keynes City Centre Management (MKCCM), are pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Harriman as the new Street Warden for Central Milton Keynes.
Rob, a winner of seven ‘Pride of MK’ awards, brings us his experience from being Milton Keynes Council’s neighbourhood warden since 2007. Rob will assess all of CMK’s public areas, making sure they are kept safe and presentable. He will work closely with local businesses and residents to improve standards across CMK.
“I’m delighted to have joined MKCCM and CMK Town Council as Street Warden, becoming the eyes and ears and engaging with both local residents and the business community,” says Rob. “I’ll be working on improving standards in the area, to make Central Milton Keynes a safe and exciting place for workers, residents and visitors, and look forward to reporting to CMK Town Council with my findings and achievements.”
In his personal time, Rob enjoys spending time with his children, playing football and golf, fishing, and walking his dog. He is a keen watcher of TV game shows, and appeared as a guest on In It To Win It in 2013.
Last year, Rob was short-listed for the ITV Pride of Britain Awards, where he was commended by the Prime Minister for his hard work in improving Milton Keynes. We look forward to seeing him bring this dedication to his new role.
