The Proms in Campbell Park
The Milton Keynes City Orchestra will be performing at an evening of uplifting music, fireworks and fizz at the Campbell Park Amphitheatre on 14 August. The precise musical programme is still to be confirmed, but the performance is expected to last approximately two hours, including an interval. Guests are advised to bring their own seating and warm clothes. Picnics are welcome, however gazebos and BBQs are not permitted, and pets cannot be accommodated. There will be a meeting of the Town Council's Planning Committee on Wednesday 26th August. The agenda is available here. Purple Charity Fun Ride
Charity Fun Ride raising money for Epilepsy Action. Classes to suit all ages and abilities. Distances from 4km to 40km. Riding through parkland, fields and woods with very little roadwork. On marked and stewarded routes of dedicated bridle paths with limited road work through quiet estates. There are no jumps. Maps will be provided. It's that time again! The next MKCCM 'Love Where You Live' Spring Clean, in association with McDonalds and Keep Britain Tidy, is planned for Tuesday 17 September from 12-2pm. On this occasion, the group will be litter picking around Midsummer Boulevard.
