There will be a chance to hear artists discuss their recent public art commissions for Milton Keynes this week. Artists David Batchelor, Sam Jacob and Will Nash will be in conversation with Rebecca Heald at MK Gallery on the evening on Wednesday 4 November. The event is free to attend. An exhibition of original local art will be on display at the Central Library from the 9th to the 22nd of November. The exhibition, entitled 'Picture Perfect', is organised by the Milton Keynes Society of Artists. It is free to visit, and the works on display will also be available for sale.

Milton Keynes Gallery are running a free one-day workshop to help you to explore your childhood home and bring it to life, in a new project called No Place Like Home. This popular and free open day returns for a 9th year and includes talks and activities for all ages plus stands and displays by local societies, archaeological units, metal detectorists, and the Portable Antiquities Scheme.
