Visual artist James Aldridge has been appointed to lead MK Gallery’s pilot programme of artist-led outdoor learning, The Green Town Group. James combines sensory interaction - walking, collecting and making - with research into ecology and history. The annual MK Playday will return this year for another day of activities for children and families, promising to be the biggest and best Playday to date. Thursday 11 August sees the return of the annual Love Where You Live 24 Hour Clean Up event! A group of hardy volunteers will set off from the Xscape branch of McDonalds at 10am before taking on a 24 hour, 24 mile route around Milton Keynes. Residents are welcome to join the group for as little or as long as you like.
