Collaborate: Family Workshops
There is a good opportunity to get young children interested in art at MK Gallery’s two family workshops on Friday 28 October. The workshops are built around a theme of ‘Future Nature’ and participants will be able to produce artworks and models of how a future city could be designed to allow people and nature to exist together. In the run-up to the winter season, the Project Space at MK Gallery will be transformed into Festive Market, selling art, craft and merchandise from local makers and artists. A range of work from over 20 independent artists and makers will be for sale including prints, painting, textiles, ceramics, decorations, jewellery, books, cards, homeware and bath products. Head over to the Gallery for the opening on Thursday 10 November at 6pm, with mulled wine and mince pies.

Christmas lights along the length of Midsummer Boulevard will be switched on by Father Christmas and the Mayor, Steve Coventry at 4:45pm on Saturday 12 November from the stub area outside intu Milton Keynes. The event will commence at 3pm with entertainment from the MKFM stage.

A huge array of events and activities will dazzle audiences when the annual Paraffinalia fire festival returns to Campbell Park this winter.
