Entrepreneurial Spark
Do you have an idea for a new business venture? A new series of monthly events aimed at budding entrepreneurs is taking place in CMK, designed to encourage business owners to take the plunge and to show what Milton Keynes has to offer. Start the Art is a weekly session for children to get into art and enjoy the experiences of painting, drawing, mark-making and more. These interactive sessions, hosted by a group of friendly artists, run every Tuesday morning in MK Gallery's event space. Booking is essential via Eventbrite. There will be a meeting of the Town Council's Planning Committee on Wednesday 21st June. Head to Campbell Park on 25th June for a midsummer Festival of GIANT puppetry, running from 12 noon until 6pm. Festival of Nature – Get Into Wildlife
As part of the city-wide Festival of Nature during the first week of July, there will be a two-day "wild zone" set up in the intu shopping centre. Visit the wild zone to see: A pop-up wildlife garden for hints and tips on how you can help wildlife at home. Hands-on children's activites. A selection of the entries from the five days wild scrapbook challenge. A selection of gifts and products to purchase from the College Lake shop.

CMK will play host to the British National Youth Circuit Cycling competitions on Sunday 9 June. Presented by Santander Cycles MK, the race will take in sections of Midsummer Boulevard, Witan Gate and Silbury Boulevard between Grafton and Saxon Gates. More information can be found here.
