These interactive sessions, hosted by a group of friendly artists, run every Tuesday morning in MK Gallery's event space. Booking is essential via Eventbrite. Jennifer Reid, the MK50 artist in residence, will be at Campbell Park next week. She will be on the canal in Campbell park gathering memories from local people to create a songbook for the MK50 celebrations. As part of this residency, which has been funded by the Arts Council, Jennifer will also be running two workshops where residents can find out about old songs and traditional folk music, then have a go at writing their own. The annual classical bonanza from Milton Keynes City Orchestra returns for an evening of uplifting music with a firework finale. Ticket prices are Adult/£19; Child/£9; Family/£49. Located in Campbell Park Amphitheatre. Recommended parking at Milton Keynes Shopping Centre. Guests are advised to bring their own seating and warm clothes. Picnics are welcome.
