Start the Art
Start the Art is a weekly session for children to get into art and enjoy the experiences of painting, drawing, mark-making and more. These interactive sessions, hosted by a group of friendly artists, run every Tuesday morning in MK Gallery's event space. Booking is essential via Eventbrite. Please book one child ticket for each child attending.

Expert John Hanson is offering free 30 minute consultations to help you with research into your Family History. Sessions are held on Thursdays between 4.15-7.30pm and need to be booked in advance by phoning 01908 254051 or emailing the Family History department at Central Library. 17 May 2018 28 June 2018 19 July 2018 These sessions prove very popular and we would recommend booking early!

There will be a meeting of the Town Council’s Planning Committee at 6.10pm. The meeting will be held in the Grafton A room on the 4th floor, Margaret Powell House, 413 Midsummer Boulevard. Members of the public are welcome and will be given an opportunity at the beginning of the meeting to make statements on issues on the agenda or other matters relating to planning within the parish of Central Milton Keynes. The MK Soapbox Derby will take place around Midsummer Boulevard and Saxon Gate on June 16th. Race slots can be booked on the official website which is www.mksoapbox.co.uk 100% of the entry fees for the Seniors (15 years+) and the Elite races will go directly to Willen Hospice. The Juniors race (8-15 years) is free to enter.

House and Land is the duo of Sally Anne Morgan (fiddle, shruti box, banjo, vocals) and Sarah Louise Henson (vocals, 12-string guitar, shruti box, bouzouki). We invite you to join a 'plwalking event' on 12th July at 2pm, meeting at the Bridge in Campbell Park. Plwalking is picking up plastic and litter while you walk.
