Albert French Day at MK Rose
There will be a commemorative event on Saturday 24 June as part of a series of initiatives to mark the 100th anniversary of the First World War. In particular, the event will pay respect to Albert French, a local serviceman and one of the youngest victims of the war. The event will take place at the MK Rose in Campbell Park, near the end of the bridge from The Theatre, starting at 10:30am. For more information contact events@theparkstrust.com or 01908 255 379.

There will be a youth cycling event in CMK on Sunday, 21 June. Entry is open to under 16s. For information on the entry fees and how to enter please go to the British Cycling website. There will be road closures in CMK in connection with this event. Details can be found on our road closures page.

The annual women's 5km and 10 runs in support of Cancer Research UK will take place, starting in Campbell Park, on the 28th of June. The World Picnic in Campbell Park
The World Picnic is an annual one-day festival to celebrate music, dance and cultures around the world. It has its own decicated Facebook page, where you can find more information and updates. The organising group are cuurently looking for cultural performers to take part in this year's World Picnic. Any interested performers who wish to be considered are invited to send video/You Tube, sound clips and photos from previous performances to events@theparkstrust.com.

MK Play Day
The annual MK Play Day will return this year for another day of activities for children and families. Fun things to do at the event include water slides, bug hunting, den making and woodland play areas. Purple Charity Fun Ride
Charity Fun Ride raising money for Epilepsy Action. Classes to suit all ages and abilities. Distances from 4km to 40km. Riding through parkland, fields and woods with very little roadwork. Rugby World Cup Fanzone
Crowds and parades will bring Campbell Park to life at the start of October as it plays host to the “Fanzone” for the Rugby World Cup, several matches of which are taking place in the city.
