‘Ride to Work Week’ begins on 12 March until 18 March and aims to encourage more people to commute
to work by bike.

a good way to start again.
As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, spring is the perfect time to for people to switch to
cycling for all or part of their commute.
Employees who cycle to work benefit in many ways like reducing stress, losing weight and boosting
mental stimulation. In fact, people who ride to work take half as many sick days as people who commute
by car or public transport
Getting people out of cars and onto bikes is also good for the environment and congestion. There are
40,000 deaths a year as a result of air pollution so sustainable commuting could save 8,300 lives a year
