Cornerstone Toddlers

Cornerstone Toddlers is a drop-in ‘toddler group’ that meets every Monday morning in term time, from 10.00 am to 11.45 am in the Guildhall at the Church of Christ the Cornerstone.

It is run by volunteers, and each family pays £1.50 when they attend. There is free parking available in the car park behind the Guildhall.

The aim of the group is to facilitate friendship between parents and carers (of any nationality or faith) , who look after babies and young children, and to provide a wide range of safe play opportunities for the children.

The children play with a wide range of toys – slide, trampoline, seesaw, sit’n’rides, toy cars and trains, construction kits, dolls and prams, toy kitchen, books and puzzles. There are also art and craft activities each week, along with play dough. We also have a variety of baby toys available in a separate, safe area.

At about 10.45 am the groups have drinks and a snack, when we celebrate any birthdays together, then at about 11.30 am there is a singing session all together to end the morning.

If you and your family would like to join in with our Cornerstone Toddlers just come along to the Church of Christ the Cornerstone on any Monday in term time and drop in to the Guildhall around 10.00 am and we shall do our best to make you feel welcome.
