There will be a meeting of the Council at 6pm at Centrecom Meeting Place. This open event is an opportunity to hear the artists shortlisted for the MK Gallery's New City Art Prize exhibition discuss their works with Adrian Searle, an art critic for The Guardian and a professor at The Royal College of Art in London. Start the Art is a weekly session for children to get into art and enjoy the experiences of painting, drawing, mark-making and more. These interactive sessions, hosted by a group of friendly artists, run every Tuesday morning in MK Gallery's event space. Booking is essential via Eventbrite. The Arts & Crafts Club is a perfect opportunity for children to develop their construction, modelling, painting and drawing skills. Projects include paper mache, mosiacs, dream catchers and much more. You are advised to wear old clothes as it can get messy.
