Come along to the Central Library for Milton Keynes Council's public Archaeology Day on November 8th. The event includes activities and talks for people of all ages, as well as displays by various local societies, archaeological units, metal detectorists, and the Portable Antiquities Scheme.
Central Milton Keynes' first ever Christmas lights display will be officially switched on in a ceremony on Midsummer Boulevard on Saturday 22 November. The switch-on will be held at 4.30 PM outside the Intu shopping centre, adjacent to Saxon Gate.
CMK's Fred Roche Gardens will be lit up on the night of November 15th by the stunning Garden of Light Festival. Come along and enjoy dramatic fire performances, ultraviolet balloon modelling, stilt walking, refreshments, ultraviolet face painting, interactive workshops, and more. There will also be music coutesey of MKFM, as well as the African drumming group Moribayassa.
