Anglo-Saxon Treasure: Unravelling the Lenborough Hoard
There will be a talk by Dr Susan Fern, Curator at Buckingham Old Gaol and author of “The Man Who Killed Richard III”, at Milton Keynes Central Library on Tuesday, November 17th. The talk is entitled "Anglo-Saxon Treasure: Unravelling the Lenborough Hoard". Tickets for the talk are £2 in advance, available from the Central Library.

Christmas Spring Clean

On Saturday 19 December, local arts organisation, Festive Road, will be producing Paraffinalia: a site-specific Midwinter Fire Festival in Campbell Park. CMK Spring Clean
On Thursday 21 April employees and residents of Central Milton Keynes will gather at Xscape for the first ‘Love Where You Live’ spring clean of 2016, in association with MKCCM, McDonalds and Keep Britain Tidy. Love Where You Live
After a successful Love Where You Live event in May, the team are returning to the North 11 and 12 Street Gardens on Thursday 23 June from 12-2pm to continue the amazing work done to clean up this area ready for the summer. Love Where You Live 24 Hour Event
Thursday 11 August sees the return of the annual Love Where You Live 24 Hour Clean Up event! A group of hardy volunteers will set off from the Xscape branch of McDonalds at 10am before taking on a 24 hour, 24 mile route around Milton Keynes. Residents are welcome to join the group for as little or as long as you like. Winter Safety Roadshow
This year’s ‘Winter Safety’ event will be a roadshow and will cover five different locations over five days. Weaving Trust 50: Meet New People!
In a carousel of short one-to-one conversations, diverse individuals will share personal stories of how they came to MK and what they like about its past, present and future. The aim of Weaving Trust events, of which several have been hosted by different MK organisations over the past 18 months, is to build trust between individuals and between their communities.
