The Great Plastic Pick-up
We invite you to join a 'plwalking event' on 12th July at 2pm, meeting at the Bridge in Campbell Park. Plwalking is picking up plastic and litter while you walk. (There is also plogging, a similar thing but done whilst jogging!) Join us and make Campbell Park and the redways even more beautiful! Expert John Hanson is offering free 30 minute consultations to help you with research into your Family History. The Big Bug Tour
Have you ever wondered what tiny little insects look like up close? Well here’s your chance as intu gets set to bring the outdoors indoors right across the UK. You will see the Magistrates’ Court on a working day escorted by two magistrates. You will have an opportunity to learn about how we sentence and about the sentencing powers magistrates have at their disposal. Opening Times: Morning session 09.30 – 12.30. Milton Keynes Youth Cabinet will be launching their Mental Health exhibition at the Central Milton Keynes Library on the 10th October – World Mental Health Day. During the summer months, the Youth Cabinet ran a completion named Mental Health and Me: MK in which young people submitted entries expressing whatever mental health means to them. . Gardening between North 9th and 10th Street Flats
The Green Gym, in collaboration with the Town Council, is seeking to clear an area between the North 9th and 10th Street flats prior to planting flowers in the space. Volunteers are needed to help. No experience needed and all equipment will be provided. Simply turn up outside Centrecom to get involved. The work will take place between 10.45am and 14.00.
