Improv Night at MK Gallery
This event is an open session for musicians, sound artists and non-musicians who are interested in exploring improvisation and developing new musical relationships. Bring your own instruments/equipment/objects (and amplification should you require it). MK Gallery will provide the PA, Mics, DI’s and the space for exploration. Saturday Live Music
MK Gallery's regular Saturday Live Music evenings return with two exciting performers: Josephine Foster An American folk singer-songwriter with a background in a wide range of musical styles. Peter cuts Paul Paul Rippengal and Pete Bennie combine effected guitar and bass with improvisation and freely interpreted melodies over an array of loops and found sounds. International artists Boyd and Evans will be speaking as part of a series of events under the title Underpasses Connecting People, Connecting Places. On the occasion of the rehanging of 'Situation Comedy' at Central Library, the evening will also include a tour of the many Boyd and Evans paintings on display at the library. The event is free and open to all but booking is essential and places can be booked online.

As part of the Art of Islam Festival, Central Library is hosting a cooking demonstration and tasting session by Halima Saleem. One day in December 2014 Halima decided to create a Facebook page publishing food recipes and it has gone from strength to strength. Superman IV Redux: Meet and Greet
Superman IV The Quest For Peace, starring Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackman, was filmed in Milton Keynes (which doubled as Metropolis) 30 years ago in 1986. With the help of local people, artist Richard DeDomenici will reshoot key scenes during the International Festival.
