Comic Making Workshops
Digital artist Jade Sarson will be leading three free comic making sessions for anyone aged 12 and above. These workshops will teach the art of writing, designing, colouring and publishing comics. There are 25 spaces on the workshops and registration is essential. The informal "Knit and Natter and Stitch" group meets fortnightly from 1-2.30pm on Thursdays. The sessions are free to attend and are open to all levels of ability, from beginner to expert. Comedy Fundraiser at the Buszy
There will be an evening of stand-up comedy at the Buszy on Saturday, 7 February at 7.30pm. The event includes local comedian Jimmy James Jones, along with many others. Saturday Live Music at MK Gallery
There will be a night of live music at the Milton Keynes Gallery, next to the Theatre, on Saturday 14 March. The acts performing cover a range of styles, consisting of pop due Shield Patterns, Scottish multi-instrumentalist Esperi and experimental folk duo Lost Harbours. The show starts at 7.30pm, with tickets available on the door for £5.
