You will see the Magistrates’ Court on a working day escorted by two magistrates. You will have an opportunity to learn about how we sentence and about the sentencing powers magistrates have at their disposal.

Opening Times: Morning session 09.30 – 12.30. Afternoon session 13.30 – 16.30.

Location: Meet in the foyer by security.

Access: Full wheelchair access, on-site accessible toilets, hearing loop available.

Booking: Pre-booking essential – maximum of 12 per session. Please note this is a working courthouse and we cannot guarantee that the afternoon sessions will always have work. If no court is open we will shorten the session.
