Roy Heath, TV producer and digital media trainer, will share his filmmaking and digital media skills to help participants create cutting edge content and realise their creative vision at MK Gallery on 19 August. The only limitation is your imagination!
Roy started his career as a researcher on the BBC’s CountryFile and progressed to produce and direct on Newsnight, Black Britain and Breakfast. He has more than 20 years’ experience working on factual programmes, leaving the BBC in 2004 to go on to work for a variety of independent production companies making programmes for ITV and C4. For the last decade he has worked with youth and community groups helping people tell their stories in powerful and engaging ways. Roy has recently worked with the Jack Petchy Foundation and Youtube training young people in the art of Vlogging on a high-profile competition called Vlogstar Challenge.
For anyone attending this masterclass, it would be helpful if you could bring along a mobile phone with a video recording facility, although this is not essential.
Tickets cost £5. Pre-booking is essential.
