To celebrate Rugby World Cup 2015, the streets of Milton Keynes will become the setting for an explosive and thrilling outdoor spectacular as international companies Les Commandos Percu (from France) and Deabru Beltzak (from the Basque region of Spain) do battle in “Clash of Drums / Danbor Talka”.
The two tribes will meet in a cataclysmic collision of fast and frenzied drumming, war-like chanting, fireworks, pyrotechnics and fiercely dramatic movement.
Setting off from Lloyds Court (8pm on Friday 2 October) and Campbell Park (9.30pm Saturday 3 October), crowds can follow the combat action as it sweeps through the streets of Milton Keynes towards a fiery finale next to The Point. There, the fury of the devilish war-painted forces is finally transformed into a common energy – unified by fire.
This free event is not to be missed!
