This page will list all upcoming road works and closures in Central Milton Keynes and Campbell Park.

Current and Ongoing Closures:

9 September- 9 March 2023

Work is taking place around the perimeter of the old ‘Wyevale’ garden centre cite, between Secklow Gate, Avebury Boulevard and South 10th Street to enable the construction of a new residential scheme.

For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or
proceed along the following length of roads and footways:
• Parking Access Road adjacent to Secklow Gate – From its junction with the access entrance
from Secklow Gate for approximately 54 Meters in a northern direction.
• Parking Access Road adjacent to Avebury Boulevard – for approximately 88 meters to its
junction with South 10th Street
• Various Footways around the development site will be closed in the interest of public
safety
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Secklow Gate, Avebury
Boulevard and South 10th Street (and vice versa).
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the development via signed access routes.

January- March 2022

Work is taking place along car park areas adjacent to Marlborough Gate, Midsummer Boulevard and Silbury Boulevard whilst the new Hotel La Tour is being constructed.

The car park adjacent to the John Lewis Multi storey car park will be closed adjacent to Marlborough Gate for the period 6th January 2022 to 28th March 2022.

The temporary closure order will come into effect on 6th January 2022 for a period of 3 months. A map of the closure is here.Map for Order

Until December 2020 (ongoing)

The effect of the above Order, the temporary prohibition of vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along Redway 01, Central Milton Keynes for the development of a  new data centre. Whilst closed the alternative route will be via Midsummer Boulevard, Grafton Gate and Silbury Boulevard (and vice versa). A map of the closure is Here 

Until July 2020(Ongoing)

The effect of the above Order will be to prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting in or proceeding along Upper Second Street, from its junction with Silbury Boulevard for approximately 30 metres south/east. Whilst the length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Silbury Boulevard, Upper Fourth Street and Midsummer Boulevard (and vice versa). A map of the closure is Here
