Centrecom: CMK’s Own Community Centre

Centrecom in the snow - Thomas Walker

Please note: CMK Town Council does not operate Centrecom. To book the space please visit www.centrecom.org.uk.

Like many of CMK’s great assets, the Centrecom community centre on North Row is surprisingly little known given its important role in the local community. Located on North Row between North 9th and 10th Streets, Centrecom features a large meeting space suitable for a range of uses, a kitchen, two toilets, and even a modest collection of books for anyone who fancies a quick read. Supported by council grants, it provides a space for all of the local community to use, from residents’ associations through to local clubs and societies.

Centrecom is also used as the venue for the Town Council’s monthly meetings, which are open for members of the public to attend. The dates of these https://sdarcwellness.com/online-therapy/ meetings can be found on our website, and their agendas are usually posted online around a week before the meeting is due to be held.

One of the regular events that take place at Centrecom is the weekly bridge club, held every Wednesday at 7:15pm. The club is a non-profit society and memberships cost £10 per year, although non-member visitors are welcome to the games. The Milton Keynes Bridge Club also holds improvers classes at Centrecom on Monday afternoons for those with some understanding of bridge who wish to advance to a higher standard. More information on upcoming bridge club sessions can be found on the events section of our website.
